About the project
Specific tasks
Based on the results of working with materials in the context of this project, the following special tasks were formulated.
1. To collect and professionally process graphic materials (photos) about Hieromonk Seraphim Platinsky (Rose) in order to form a complete database.
2. To collect and professionally process audio materials (recordings from audio cassettes, etc.) of the speech of Hieromonk Seraphim Platinsky (Rose) in order to form a complete database.
3. To collect and professionally process copies of available text documents (manuscripts, drafts, notes, etc.) of Hieromonk Seraphim of Platinsky (Rose) in order to form a complete database.
Completion of these tasks will allow a scientific circulation (an open information access) to a comprehensive, systematized high quality information about the Orthodox ascetic of the 20th century, Hieromonk Seraphim (Rose).
Completion of these tasks is relevant exclusively in the United States, the place of Fr. Seraphim’s life and his contemporaries close to him who are currently engaged in storing such materials.
